News&Blog 1.9.11 Happy New Year…. Have had a bunch of productive days. Tommy has been over working in the basement laying down some amazing guitar lines. I was up till 3 last night working on the BREAK NECK BETTIES theme song for the opening bout at the Colosseum! Pretty stoked on it… Hopefully it’ll be posted soon! Show this friday- I have so many balls in the air right I haven’t been thinking about being on stage. Looking forward to it though. Oh man- Mike Lawrence is doing the album art- he is so on the same page as me its CRAZY. YOu can check him out at threeredheadstudios.com. 12.22.10 Thinking about the year. Lot’s of good things have happened. Exciting, life changing things. Things that are life affirming. I have loved living every year of my life. Each year is strange. And each familiar. And now the strangeness seems familiar- guess I’m getting older. I think that the things that I have learned over this last year will pay off in 2011. I am working on the album and planning for the future. Feeling pretty good about it! Even though it is always scary. 9.30.2010 Played Rotture last night…. Great band Threadspinner for Santa Barbara headlined. Fun night. Thanks for everyone for coming out. Going to Seattle tonight to play the 2 Bit Saloon with threadspinner as well. Then Search Party on Sat at Kelly’s Olympian and down to Eugene on Sunday for the first SUNDAY at Taylor’s! Busy busy….. 9.24.2010 Dinner with friends tonight. Kathleen is moving to the galapagos. Ashley is preggers. We ate carbs: macaroni with ham, mashed potatoes, chips and guacamole, chips and bean dip, chips and chips, pasta salad, rice krispie treats and apple pie! Oh also multiple brie wedges. Charley’s bday tonight too. Walked right into basement jam session- no bass in site though so had to play guitar. Then record spinning with Biggs and Chuck, and later australian rules football with Scott. Interesting night. Still no drinking- till Oct. Good to press reset everyonce in a while. 9.23.2010 Insomnia is pretty much dominating my night. TV/BASS/GUITAR/COMPUTER/SNACK/RINSE/REPEAT 9.22.2010 So, I wasn’t expecting that it would change my life or anything. I have been doing this long enough to know that. The fact that my song “Ticking” was chosen for the “Meet the Hilfiger’s” national Tommy Hilfiger campaign is pretty cool. However, what sucks is that there is no way for someone to find out that it is my song!?! Say you catch the commercial, and you’re like… “Hey, those preppy clothes are pretty cool, but that song is awesome… who is that?” Well, you would have to do a shit-ton of research to figure out who sings the song. That is the drawback to these third party 50/50 company negotiations. Get the money and get out. Hopefully, the Tommy people will approach us for a superbowl commercial and we can get some more cred! If this doesn’t make sense…. drop me a note- if it does, maybe you have experienced a similar situation. Either way, it’s a good thing, and I am happy just to be noticed! :)

Thinking about the year. Lot’s of good things have happened. Exciting, life changing things. Things that are life affirming. I have loved living every year of my life. Each year is strange. So, I wasn’t expecting that it would change my life or anything. I have been doing this long enough to know that. The fact that my song “Ticking” was chosen for the “Meet the Hilfiger’s” national Tommy Hilfiger campaign is pretty cool. However, what sucks is that there is no way for someone to find out that it is my song!?! Say you catch the commercial, and you’re like… “Hey, those preppy clothes are pretty cool, but that song is awesome… who is that?” Well, you would have to do a shit-ton of research to figure out who sings the song.
